Reserve the Crooks Community Center

For your convenience, the documents needed to rent the Crooks Community Center have been uploaded in the document center below. Simply click on the drop-down arrow to obtain the documents. To fill out and sign the documents electronically, call the city office at 605-543-5238 (option 1) Mondays through Thursdays from 8 am to 4:00 pm, or email deputyfo@crookssd.org.
If you wish to tour the Community Center, tours must be held between 9 am and ending by 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Appointments are appreciated.
Please be advised that the Crooks Community Center is booked on a first come, first serve basis. No dates will be booked until signed paperwork and payment of deposit and rent have been received. The Community Center must be cleaned and returned to the same condition as before your event. Failure to clean will result in a loss of the deposit fee and no longer being able to rent the center for future events. Review the Cleaning List in the documents below for all the cleaning tasks that must be completed at the end of your event.
No confetti or glitter is allowed in the Community Center as it is difficult to clean. Use of any decorations that have not been fully cleaned by the end of the event will result in the loss of deposit fee. Doors must not be propped open, and all doors must be locked at the end of the event, or it will result in the loss of the deposit fee.
No pets are allowed. Service animals, as covered by federal law, are allowed.
A signed rental agreement plus deposit and rental fee must be received to secure a reservation. Your rental begins at 2 am and ends at 2 am. The center must be fully cleaned by 2 am.

The maximum capacity of the Community Center is 250 people.
Available for use as part of rental:
Ten 6' Round Tables
Twenty Five 8' x 30" tables
Full use of kitchen, including roasters, stoves, refrigerator, freezer, dishes and utensils.
The Community Center must be cleaned by renter by the end of the rental period. Failure to return the space to the same conditions as prior to the rental will result in the loss of deposit fee and no longer being able to rent the center for future events.
