Dear Crooks Community:

The anticipated winter storm is going to be a challenge for all of us; the expected amount of snow, plus wind, and cold temperatures make for testy conditions for snow removal.

Here are a few things, we are asking your help with and for your understanding:

1) Please make sure you move your cars off the street. Plowing becomes much more difficult if vehicles are obstructing our paths, preventing us from clearing streets.

2) Our focus is on emergency routes first. Clearing those roads ensuring law enforcement, the fire department, and ambulance service can reach their destinations are a top priority for us.

3) The street in front of your house may not be passable at times. While we attempt to clear the streets as soon as possible, it may take some time.

4) Make sure you are prepared for the winter storm. Buy the basic necessities you'll need. We ask you keep an eye out for your neighbors, friends, and family (or anyone who might need help/assistance). Make sure to check your sewer vent and your neighbor’s.
